Expédition quelque peu improvisée avec mes camarades de classe, puisque nous sommes arrivés dans un quartier traditionnel protégé Chinois. On voulait de l'authentique, et je peux vous assurez qu'on en a eu :). C'était un quartier datant du XIXeme siècle qui a été construit par les étrangers vivant à Tianjin, l'architecture était donc assez différente de ce que l'on trouve normalement. Les gens, bien qu'un peu stupéfaits de voir débarquer 4 jeunes "blancs" ont cependant été super heureux de répondre à nos questions. Leur mode de vie, que nous avons pu observé longuement, ce fait rare en Chine à cause des démolitions, mais ressemble encore à la façon dont ils vivaient tous il n'y a pas si longtemps.
Nous avons aussi décidé de prendre notre repas de midi dans ce quartier et d'acheter dans un "restaurant" local. La vue de l'hygiène (ou le manque d'hygiène) nous à un peu refroidi, mais nous avons tenu bon (enfin certains d'entre nous) et nous nous sommes régalés de dumplings frits. Mon estomac à même supporter le repas, donc aucun problèmes. Avis aux amateurs! ^^

An improvised expedition with my classmates, since we arrived in a protected traditional Chinese area. We wanted authentic, and I can assure you that we got it :)! It was a district from the XIXth century built by foreigners who lived in Tianjin, which means that the architecture was different from what you can usually see. People, even though they were a bit astounded to see 4 young "white" arriving, they were nevertheless very happy to answer all our questions. Their way of living, that we were able to observe for a pretty long time, is becoming rare in China because of the demolition of such areas. But it still really much looks like the way they were all living not so long ago.
We also deciding to have our lunch there and to buy it in a local "restaurant". The sight of the hygiene (or the lack of it) kind of put us off, but we brought us back together (or most of us did) and it was some truly delicious fried dumplings. My stomach even managed to resist it, so no worries. Are there any takers? ^^
