Cela fait quelques jours que j'y suis aller, mais je tenais à vous le présenter. Le parc Shui Shang est situé en face de mon building, d'ailleurs de ma chambre je le vois un peu (voir photo d'un article précédent). Ce parc est composé de plusieurs parties: un jardin japonais, un lac, un parc d'attraction, des jardins traditionnels chinois... bref, de quoi se promener longuement et ce sentir loin du centre ville pour un moment.

It's been a few days I have been there, but I really wanted to introduce it to you. The Shui Shang Park is located in front of my building, I can indeed see a part of it form my flat (see picture in one of the former articles). This park has several parts: a Japanese garden, a lake, an attraction park, some Chinese traditional gardens.... enough to have long walks and to feel far away from the city center for a while.

Je ne voudrais pas que vous pensiez que la Chine, c'est tt beau tt rose, et que les beaux parcs zen constituent le quotidien des Chinois. La réalité est tt autre. Certes, leur niveau de vie à très fortement augmenté depuis 1979 et l'ouverture de la Chine au commerce extérieur, mais la plupart du temps, les scènes de vie quotidiennes ressemblent plus à cela (voir photo) qu'à l'image moderne que les médias en donnent.

Sur un vieux building, à partir du moment où le caractère chinois 拆 Chāi (qui signifie démolition) apparait, il est trop tard pour changer la décision des membres du parti. Souvent c'est nécessaire, les bâtiments devenus trop vétustes sont vraiment dangereux, mais parfois, il arrive aussi que des quartiers de maisons traditionnelles où vivent les habitant se retrouvent rasés, juste pour que les promoteurs immobiliers puissent construire un nouveau gratte-ciel qui leurs rapportera beaucoup (trop) d'argent. En Chine, même si vous êtes propriétaire de votre maison, l'Etat est propriétaire du terrain, TOUJOURS! Ils peuvent donc vous demander de partir (ou vous forcer à partir aussi...) du jour au lendemain, sans justifications.

De quoi nous donner à réfléchir quant à la chance que nous avons, de VRAIMENT posséder les biens que nous achetons.... à méditer!
I wouldn't like you to think that in China, everything is all nice and pink, and that beautiful zen parcs composed the daily life of the Chinese. The reality is elsewhere. Admittedly, their standards of living have highly improved since 1979 and the opening-up of China to the international commerce, but most of the time, daily scenes still look more like that (see photo) than the modern image medias can give.

On an old building, from the moment you can see the Chinese character 拆 Chāi (meaning demolition) appearing, it is too late to change the decision of the parti members. It's often necessary as some buildings far too dilapidated are really dangerous. But sometimes, it can also happen that areas of traditionnal houses where people live are wiped off the map, just so that real estate developers can build new skyscrappers that will make them earn a lot (too much) money. In China, even if you own your house, the State own the land, ALWAYS! They can therefore ask you to leave (or force you to) overnight, without justifications.

It gives us to think about the chance we have to REALLY own goods that we buy.... food for thoughts!

Un autre parc également situé près de chez moi nous à permis une petite balade très agréable. Pour ceux qui connaissent Edimbourgh, il s'agit également d'une colline comme "Arthur Seat" (bien moins haute quand même ^^). Ce qui est frappant, c'est qu'on y trouve beaucoup d'enfants accompagnés par leurs grand-parents, les parents étant souvent au travail. La photo montre donc cela, un petit bout très curieux de nous parler :). Le fait d'être en hauteur nous à permis d'avoir une belle vue sur Tianjin malgré la pollution qui laisse la ville très grise et la visibilité réduite. Un petit monument traditionnel chinois nous attendais en haut, et la tour que vous voyez ressemble à celle de Shanghai puisqu'il s'agit également de la tour de télévision.


An other parc also located close to my flat allowed us to take a pleasant walk. For the ones of you who know Edinburgh, it is also a hill like "Arthur Seat" (but much smaller ^^). What is striking it that you can see quite a lot of children with their grand-parents, their parents being at work. The photo shows this precisely, a cute boy who was very curious about talking to us :). Being a bit higher up was good to have a good scenary of Tianjin, even though the pollution makes the city look grey and limited our visibility. A small traditionnal Chinese monument was waiting for us on top of the hill, and the tower you can see looks like the one in Shanghai since it is also a TV tower.

Tout le monde connait Barbie®, et sa version vétérinaire pour toutes les petites filles qui rêvent de prendre soin des animaux (autant dire 99,9% des petites filles ^^). Chez nous, Barbie prend soin de chiens, de chats, de lapins, de chevaux ou autres animaux domestiques. Seulement voila, nous sommes en Chine, et Barbie prend donc soin... des pandas!!!! Sur le coup là, je dois avouer que je préfère largement la version chinoise :p
Everybody knows Barbie®, and its veterinary version for all the little girls who dream to take care of animals (which means 99,9% of the little girls ^^). In our countries, Barbie takes care of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses or other pets. However, We are in China, and therefore Barbie takes care of... pandas!!!! I have to admit that I largely prefer the Chinese version :p
